As I was walking to class one day I came across this huge sign that read “Make It Happen”; and it just so happen to be in a no parking zone. The message spoke volumes to me…
I often become so distracted by my expectations that I haven’t taken into mind how much of a disservice it is to my entire life, how far I’ve come, and all that I’ve accomplished up to this point…
There is no timeline or written manual on how to do things the correct way. What does that even mean!?
Even I forget to treasure what I have, getting lost in the have not’s.
Living in the moment is a concept I am still learning…
Success for some is a very common goal, and for myself life is much more than gaining monetary wealth.
I’ve learned to appreciate the cost of time without treating my life as though I’m working to pay a price for a life that is unrealistic.
Setting goals, working with what I got, and finding happiness in every accomplishment, choosing to walk by faith, and having some fun without feeling guilty about it.
My biggest lesson through all of it is that in life you’ll experience some hardships, and if you allow yourself to go through it, you’ll grow through it. Trust the process.
